Welcome on aboard SV/ JUCA

Our philosophy is to live in peace and harmony with each other and to have lots of fun doing it! We practice compassion and unconditional love and experience that there are no mistakes only stepping stones while we grow on our journey.

We have sold our house in August 2009 and moved from Mangawhai / New Zealand to Norfolk/Virginia to board our Sailing Vessel Juca in January 2010.

Juca is the name of our beautiful 60 foot Morgan, and the name is a creation of the first initials of our amazing inspiriations, Julia and Carlos.

I hope you all will enjoy reading our blog and following our travels around the Caribbean.

Grande Anse Beach Fun

This morning after Yoga, I got ready and packed my bags as I was going to meet Amy for a Yoga class at her house. I very much like our private little sessions at her house. I had arranged for Sven to take the children to St. George and then on his way back he will drop them off at Amy’s. Once her children are getting off school we will go down to the beach and meet other children to have fun at the beach. It all worked perfectly, just as Amy and I were finished Julia and Carlos arrived and we had a bit of time on our hand before picking up William and Bella from school. Julia and especially Carlos were very excited to meet up with William again. Grande Anse beach is a beautiful long white beach not far away from where Amy lives and where we are anchored. The water is just stunning and the temperature are just right…..beautiful…..just the way you would picture the Caribbean Bays. I really embrace these moments and will hold them in m y heart for the rest of my life…..our days in Grenada….just amazing and we are so lucky to be here. On the beach we met Debbie who has an afternoon school program, on Fridays she takes the children to the beach to go kayaking, takes them for Dinghy rides, and surfboarding. As you can probably guess we met lots of other kids and had an afternoon filled with laughter and fun.
