Welcome on aboard SV/ JUCA

Our philosophy is to live in peace and harmony with each other and to have lots of fun doing it! We practice compassion and unconditional love and experience that there are no mistakes only stepping stones while we grow on our journey.

We have sold our house in August 2009 and moved from Mangawhai / New Zealand to Norfolk/Virginia to board our Sailing Vessel Juca in January 2010.

Juca is the name of our beautiful 60 foot Morgan, and the name is a creation of the first initials of our amazing inspiriations, Julia and Carlos.

I hope you all will enjoy reading our blog and following our travels around the Caribbean.

Once more saying goodbey to Luperon

When we got up this morning we could hear the surf bashing into the harbor entrance and the wind was up already. We had a slow start and began our day with a very cozy breakfast. Carlos made some banana passion fruit smoothie for us and afterwards we went over to Puerto Blanco for the Swap market. Today we did not take anything to sell, as there is nothing anymore on the boat that we can sell that we do not need. In Puerto Blanco we met Stocki and his family and so we decided to meet up with them at Capt. Steves Place for lunch. After lunch we had a lazy day hanging around the town of Luperon, meeting people and saying goodbey to friends and people we have met during our 5 months stay here. Sven is going to the commandante tomorrow morning at nine to see whether we can get our Dispatchio.......
