The wind
and weather for our departure to St. Martin has been in our favor over the last few days; however we have delaye
d our departure one more time as Sven is helping our friends Lise and John to deliver an 85 foot Yacht to the Turks and Caicos. He is leaving on Sunday and will be returning on Friday. Sven is looking forward to this trip as it will give him a break from JUCA, his family and his daily routine. The last few days we have been keeping ourselves busy with visit to the school, working on scientific school projects, baking cakes and enjoying tasting the batter beforehand, making play dough
for the enjoyment of the whole family, teaching Carlos about cucumber treatments for the
skin. I have been unpacking and repacking our boxes, which was like having Christmas on the boat. It is always amazing to open up and unpack boxes again that you haven’t looked at for a few weeks. It feels good to have my favorite books and other small things at hand again.
