A relaxing day in the Bay of Jost van Dyke

We all slept in this morning and started our day very slowly. It was windy and cloudy and looked like we were getting some rain on top. After breakfast we went to shore with Steff, Avery and Kaylee to shore and for a walk. Everything is on Island time here; there is no rush, no one moving fast and no stress in the air. After our walk the girls came over for a play and while I cleaned up the boat they enjoyed playing Board Games, Nintendo, Playmobil and jumping off the boat for a swim. The children really enjoy playing with each other and having some fun time. At night we went over to SV “Happy Hour” for dinner and a good chat. Our plan for the next day is to sail over to Tortola and to take the ferry from over there to St. Tomas, this trip will then give us a weaver for the States for three months as well as some shopping possibilities for some fresh products.
A big yacht arrived in the harbor today, it has got a beautiful design and is from Australia with the name Twizel; guess where part of his crew comes from …Matakana and Whakatane…..yuhhu some country fellows in the same harbor then us! We had a little chat to them and admired the beautiful yacht.
