Coastal Beach Walk

It was an overcast day, however we still attempted the 3 hour walk along the coastline from Mangawhai. the weather held back and turned out to be perfect for a walk that ended up to last 4 hours, what an achievement, but I have to admit the stairs in the middle cracked my fitness level...or maybe was it the big piece of driftwood that I found and need to take with me as well as the 10 kilo of smooth little pebbles, that I have been looking for sooo long....who knows? We did have fun and that was the main thing.....lets do that again soon.

New Bikes for Julia and Carlos

Carlos was given a bike and I bought Julia a bike on Trade Me and now the two of them making the most of it. They are zooming around the streets with their new friends, we make little trips to the nearby playground and they also make little shopping trips for Mum to the 4Square shop, which they love to do, because usually they seem to be a few cents left for a lolli or two. What a wonderful time they have on their new toys!
